How does Kybella work?
Kybella contains deoxycholic acid, a molecule your body already produces to break down and absorb fat. When injected into the submental area, it helps reduce fat deposits, which can no longer store fat.
How many sessions do I need?
Most patients require between 2 and 4 sessions, although some people may need up to 6, depending on the volume of fat and the desired result.
How long does each session last?
A typical session lasts between 20 and 30 minutes, and is performed in our clinic on an outpatient basis.
Is it painful?
There may be some discomfort or burning sensation during the application, but local anesthesia is used to make the procedure as comfortable as possible.
How many sessions do I need to see results?
Results may begin to be noticeable after a few weeks, but the most obvious changes usually appear after 2 to 4 sessions. Final results are usually visible about 2 months after the last session.
Is there recovery time?
Most patients experience swelling, redness or tenderness in the area for a few days. You can return to your normal activities in a short time, although you may prefer to avoid social events for a few days.
